Job Summary

As an Account Manager, you will create long-term trusted and commercially viable partner relationships for Tiqets. Oversee and manage your own portfolio of existing and new partners within specific regions. Strategize with partners to continually grow their business, and rapidly expand your portfolio of qualified venues aiming to meet or exceed regional KPIs. Plan and execute the regional acquisition strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly grow the number of qualified attractions within the assigned region/city
  • Open new cities within the region with top venues based on our business priorities
  • Contract new venues efficiently, working in an optimized manner and with a strategic approach
  • Negotiate and close contracts to maximize profits
  • Take ongoing partnerships to the next level by developing new revenue opportunities
  • Ensure Tiqets quality standards and product requirements for each new venue are met
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including finance, customer service and product development departments) to improve the entire customer experience
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with partners
  • Execute effectively based on KPI metrics set together with the Regional Manager
  • Ensure together with market coordination that new venues and products (content, rates, availability and online visibility) are consistently optimized and competitive on Tiqets to maximize conversion
  • Reports directly to the Regional Director and executes on regional strategy set by the Regional Manager.

Skills/Requirements

  • You are confident, easy-going, persuasive, and very enthusiastic
  • You are a motivated, proactive, and competitive person
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales or account management with a proven track record
  • Ticketing or tourism industry experience is a big plus
  • You’re highly energetic and like getting things done
  • You can work independently and have a strong sense of responsibility
  • You’re result-driven without losing your interpersonal skills
  • Having personal networks in local city tourism is a plus
  • Fluent in German (native-level) and English
  • Living in the Netherlands, and willing to relocate in the near future (within 12 months) to Berlin
