Job Summary

You will be involved in strategy planning and business model development of "Rakuten Ecosystem", which will direct and influence whole Rakuten group

Responsibilities

  • Create and design synergies between services from over 70 Rakuten group services 
  • Design new touchpoint to strengthen our involvement with customers 
  • Develop new b2b solution business, combining or enhancing marketplace, payment platform, advertisement platform etc. 
  • Formulate alliance or acquisition plans with / of the companies with techlonogies / member-base, necessary to realize above.

Skills/Requirements

Personality 

  • Who have interest and insights in business models in the world, and will to be involved in evolution of such business models. (* Sharing economy model, Subscription model, etc.)

  • Who want to make a big impact in Japanese society

Capabilities / Skills / Experience

  • Ability to deeply understand business models (including basic finance, business concepts, etc.)

  • Insight to correctly recognize business competition environment

  • Management comunication including CEO, CMO, and other management layers

  • Project management experience with 10+ members involved

  • Experience in business planning

  • Language; Japanese native level
